"It's just a case of mind over matter" - Glen Mills

Glen is a true inspiration.
She won't let anything bring her down, especially not her multiple sclerosis.
Her extreme hobbies allow her to feel like she doesn't have a disability.

They say "you can't teach an old dog new tricks", this couldn't be further from the truth for Glen as at 82 she is learning new skills every day.

There are many different forms of MS. Glen suffers with chronic progressive multiple sclerosis.
A neurological condition that affects the nervous system, causing
messages from the brain to body to slow down or be disrupted entirely.
The disease affects three times as many women than men.

Glen is a frequent flier at iFly indoor skydiving centre in Manchester.
She enjoys everything about her experience there and has made her instructor, Steve, her "honorary grandson".

On her 82nd birthday the team surprised her.
To Glen's delight, whilst she was flying in the wind tunnel, all of her closest family and friends were shuffled in to greet her when she came out!
